It was my third stay at The Melita, my husband booked it on my behalf and everything was as expected but with a new addition to the team. The staff members are very much a team, working together like a family, and are so friendly and welcoming but this newest recruit seemed to go above and beyond, always seen to be helping guests and letting me know he was there if I needed anything. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and it’s very quiet at night. Each time I have stayed, I have been on my own and I have felt very safe and secure there. It is in a great location for exploring the whole of London with all Victoria Stations only a 10 minute walk away.

The room was a family room, 2 single beds and a double, perfect for myself & 2 adult sons for 1 night, with an en-suite bathroom, it was at the top of the house so you got your steps in (6 flights) so not for physically frail or disabled but the view was reminiscent of Mary Poppins! The staff were all very friendly & helpful & the breakfast was buttery pasties collected with tea or coffee to be eaten in your room - I sent the youngest to collect. The location was perfect for us, 30 mins walk from the US Embassy on the other side of the river & about 30 to 40 minutes from China Town and the theatres if you want to catch a show.

The welcome was very lovely. I was assisted getting my bags to my room. I opted for a smal single room and although quite compact the room had everything I needed including tea making facilities and fridge. The continental breakfast offering was a nice way to head off for the day. The location of the Melita is excellent. Not far from Victoria station and a couple of options for the underground. Not far from supermarkets and good eateries. I stayed in a hotel not far from the Melitia 2 years ago, the Melitia outshone other hotel. I would highly recommend the Melita for a central London stay.

Excellent location in Pimlico on a quiet road. Staff very friendly, room was actually bigger than I had expected given that this is London, plenty of storage for a 2 night stay including small fridge in the room. Shower room small but adequate, plenty of hot water. All very clean and comfortable and, for London, a good price. Coffee and mini-viennoiseries in the morning a nice touch, enough to tide you over until brunch! Plenty of eating establishments nearby ( recommend Grumbles just round the corner for a good value French bistro style place ). Happy to return.

It’s in a great, quiet location. The staff are lovely, had many great chats with the receptionist and a few other staff members, and had the pleasure to meet the 93 year old Maltese owner of this hotel, of which he named this hotel after. You can walk to a lot of important sites, and the underground is not too far away. You also get to have a free coffee and freshly baked pastries every morning from 7:30-9am. Pretty neat. You can get your room cleaned daily, and the staff are so so nice. It’s pretty safe and trustworthy.
