This is a great spot to visit London- there is a bus stop 50-100m away route 24- you don’t need anything but ordinary bank card to swipe on, and you’ll be at Charing Cross on 25 minutes- it’s not far in distance but just usual traffics congestion lights etc. it’s about 800 m from Victoria Station that has a couple of theatres nearby Hamilton and Wicked playing- a selection of food places and Tescos are about 300m away. I was in a twin but paid the extra for a superior twin - double and single- space ok, but beds not overly comfortable but nothing to prevent sleeping- bathroom - not used to how they do the taps- pressure weak on shower- also travelling with a more senior person with stiff joints, this is a terrace without a lift - up 37 stairs to our room, for able and mobile people not an issue but bear in mind if someone has mobility issues, ask for a room on lower floor/ staff were absolutely WONDERFUL, so helpful and kind and just lovely- real value of the hotel is the staff, no breakfast but they do make a lovely pod coffee and give your fresh warm pastries in the morning - which is better than places that advertise breakfast that is inedible- overall really thought the place was great and I would stay albeit on a lower level

A cozy, intimate hotel in a GREAT, quiet location. Steps away from two metro stations which get you to all the attractions is mare minutes. The area is quite residential, so you don't get the crowds & chaos of the touristy part of London- which was great. But you do get all the local eateries, pubs, restaurants and shops- which is so nice. Lovely staff. They were very helpful and kind. The room was clean and a good size. The bed was very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that I got 4 pillows. The bathroom was a good size. The complimentary coffee & pastries in the morning were a really nice touch. I will definitely stay here again & I highly recommend it.

We have stayed at The Melita in a 3-person room and felt completely at home. The room and the beds are comfy and warm, and have complete amenities. The location was perfect, short walking distance to public transport. The fresh pastries and coffee were our yummy wake-up calls each morning. The highlight for me was the super sweet and attentive staffs. Anna was so kind since day one and has gone over the mile to get my friend and her son the same room when they stayed longer. Yamy and Dita who served us breakfast are also so sweet and friendly. Thank you for considering us as family and making us feel at home. Hope to come back one day!

The room was a family room, 2 single beds and a double, perfect for myself & 2 adult sons for 1 night, with an en-suite bathroom, it was at the top of the house so you got your steps in (6 flights) so not for physically frail or disabled but the view was reminiscent of Mary Poppins! The staff were all very friendly & helpful & the breakfast was buttery pasties collected with tea or coffee to be eaten in your room - I sent the youngest to collect. The location was perfect for us, 30 mins walk from the US Embassy on the other side of the river & about 30 to 40 minutes from China Town and the theatres if you want to catch a show.

Really friendly staff. Even though the room was small (superior single), it was surprisingly cosy, there was even art work on the walls, which made it even more homey. New modern shower cabin, safety box, a mini fridge and a blow dryer really helped make the stay more comfortable. Close proximity to Victoria station and transport to the city centre. And of course, the wonderful touch of complimentary warm mini-pastries and a good cup of nespresso coffee for a good start of the day. Thank you to the staff for always being friendly and attentive.
